An independent Wordle solver and reference, built around real word data.
Wordle Finder is a free tool for solving today's Wordle, browsing 5-letter word lists, and getting better at the game over time. It isn't affiliated with The New York Times, Josh Wardle, or any official Wordle property — we're an independent fan project.
What we work from
The solver and word lists run against two datasets: a curated list of about 2,300 common 5-letter words (the kind that show up as puzzle answers), and a wider list of about 22,000 valid 5-letter guesses. Both lists live in the open, in our codebase, and you can read about how we use them in our strategy guides.
What we don't do
- We don't store your guesses or your puzzle progress.
- We don't require an account — there's nothing to sign up for.
- We don't sell or share data with anyone.
